Bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct, may be physical, verbal or non-verbal, e.g. by letter, e-mails, text messages, social media, or by attitude or behaviour.

If you are experiencing or witness any bullying, harassment or sexual misconduct and the perpetrator is a member of the university community you can report such concerns via the button below. The University aims to deal with any concerns at an early stage promptly, impartially, effectively and with sensitivity. All allegations of bullying ,harassment and sexual misconduct will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken. Any form of discrimination, harassment victimisation or sexual misconduct where the perpetrator is a student or member of staff that is proven may lead to the implementation of the University Student Non-Academic Conduct and Disciplinary Policy and Procedure or staff Disciplinary Processes. If you witness any bullying, harassment and or sexual misconduct on campus and yours or another person’s safety is at risk or an immediate intervention is required please contact security on 01204 903700 or ask any available member of staff for assistance.
If you witness or experience any of these unacceptable behaviours off campus and need assistance urgently please contact the Police in an emergency using 999 or if non-urgent 101. Many forms of bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct could constitute a criminal offence.
If you feel you may be the perpetrator of any unwanted or unacceptable behaviours and wish to seek support please contact the Life Lounge
If you don’t wish to share any information with the University but do wish to get support you can speak with the Students’ Union or you can obtain an A-Z list of useful agencies from the Student Centre or Life Lounge.
