Sue Hincks

Statutory Co-opted Member and Member of the Audit Committee

Up until her recent retirement, Sue was the Headmistress of the Bolton School Girls’ Division, a role she had held since 2011. Whilst there, she led significant reforms to teaching, learning and assessment policies and implemented changes to the structures and staffing to increase student academic enrichment activities.

Sue’s previous roles include Deputy Head at The King’s School (Worcester); Head of MFL at Gresham’s School (Norfolk), and teaching posts at Marlborough College and The King’s School (Peterborough).

Sue was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University where she achieved a First Class Honours MA in Modern History & Modern Foreign Languages.

Sue remains committed to the achievement and welfare of all students from diverse backgrounds.
