Up until her recent retirement, Sue was the Headmistress of the Bolton School Girls鈥� Division, a role she had held since 2011. Whilst there, she led significant reforms to teaching, learning and assessment policies and implemented changes to the structures and staffing to increase student academic enrichment activities.

Sue鈥檚 previous roles include Deputy Head at The King鈥檚 School (Worcester); Head of MFL at Gresham鈥檚 School (Norfolk), and teaching posts at Marlborough College and The King鈥檚 School (Peterborough).

Sue was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University where she achieved a First Class Honours MA in Modern History & Modern Foreign Languages.

Sue remains committed to the achievement and welfare of all students from diverse backgrounds.
