Study with an Off-Campus Partner
Nurun is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Accounting with Business at the Institute of Management (IoM). Nurun’s role involves teaching and supervision on various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at IoM. Besides this Nurun also advises and supports on academic matters including programme development, curriculum design and delivery, assessment and feedback strategies, employability, staff professional development, technology enhanced learning strategies, and driving teaching excellence across the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
As an experienced academic, Nurun has won a number of awards including a TIRI Teaching Excellence Award for her continued contributions to her department and a Jenkinson Award for Research Excellence. Nurun has published in peer reviewed journals, delivered invited guest talks and widely presented her research work from various funded projects in leading national and international conferences around the world including a TEDx event.
With academic background expanding in both Business Management and Accountancy (ACCA), Nurun is a Fellow of HEA and her professional experiences include design, development and validation of higher education degree and degree apprenticeship programmes at HE levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 in close collaboration with subject experts, academic institutions, employers and professional bodies. Nurun is also a qualified external examiner and oversees the quality processes of a range of programmes delivered at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s partner institutions in her role as a link tutor.
