Our Students' Union Office can advise you of how to search for private accommodation and what to look for when entering into a contract with a private landlord. Organising private accommodation would mean contacting the landlord of the property to make arrangements. You may wish to look at the UKCISA site for information and advice for international students finding accommodation in the UK.
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is not only a great place for students who want to have a positive learning experience, but also those who like to participate in a variety of sports. The campus hosts the £31 million sports complex, Bolton One, which houses a 25m swimming pool, 15m tall climbing wall and newly refurbished gym. Whether you wish to play sport competitively, or just to keep fit, there are many free activities at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. The Student Union can also help you find a team or society if you wish, find out more information here.
The University caters to all major religions, and we have our own Chaplaincy on-campus. There is also a quiet room, prayer room and resource area. There are many places of worship close by including: churches; mosques and temples.
For more information see our chaplaincy webpage.
The International Society at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø aims to bring Bolton's international students and interested UK students together in a social and recreational environment. It's a great way to make new friends and see more of the North of England and the rest of the UK.
